Bridesmaid's may be one of the most over rated comedies in a while.
Even my close friends,who all have fairly similar senses of humor,all highly recommended it,that being said,this only reinforced my need to see it.
I threw it in the dvd player ready for an evening full of laughs.
Its not that bad of a movie,its just not that funny.
Its more just a light hearted rom com.From the beginning of the movie,you can already tell your in for disapointment if a belly laugh is what you were looking for,then it slowly drags on through out the next hour or so,right until the predictable girl gets boy ending.
It sometimes felt,like i had fell asleep for 5minutes and missed out on some parts of the movie,because it felt like so much of the story must have been cut out,like the trip to vegas etc.
As i previously said,if your looking for a LAUGH OUT LOUD experience,and you were also disapointed by Judd Apatow's previously OVER RATED comedies like 'Knocked Up', This one will also leave you wanting your $7 back.
